Well good morning to all,
Well we have made it back to the Carrie Michelle. We got back from San Antonio about 11:30 yesterday.
Yelper's Shirley made it into San Antonio at 11:17 central time Saturday morning, almost thirty minutes ahead of sch. We got her picked up and after being up half the day already Shirley was on the hungry side of life, so we all we to this hamburger joint called In- and -Out and they or so so hamburgers. Well after the feast we all were sorta kinda tird so we went back to my daughters house and to a nap. after everybody waking we just sat around and had a BS section.

Saturdays Supper |
Saturday night for supper my daughter fixed this lemon chicken and it was some good too. With it she had mashed cauliflower and some type of green bean dish. The green beans had red bell peppers, almonds and mushrooms along with seasonings. After supper we sat around and talked a while and then off to bed.
Well it is Sunday morning and it is clod here like 28 I think that is what my phone says. All I know it is cold. We or waiting for it to warm up a bit then we are taking Shirley down to the River Walk in downtown San Antonio and let her see the Alamo and other places of interest.
|
The Alamo |
This is the front of the Alamo. I think this is the #1 attraction in San Antonio besides the River Walk. Every body wants to see the Alamo and it is understanding why. You will have to see it to see why , it is to hard to explain it so you could understand it.
|
Barge on the San Antonio River |
This is the # 2 attraction in San Antonio the river walk. Back in the forty's they routed the river thru town to help control the flooding and then the business people decided to make a tourist trap out of it and they DID TOO.
|
International Square |
This is the International Square were all the Mexican trade comes into town. They also have a great eating places there too called MiTerra's.
