Japan container ship |
This is an Japan container ship headed out to the gulf to parts of the unknown. He had left the Port of Corpus Christie. That is one little busy port too.
Tuesday Wesley and I went over to Port Aransas, he had to pick up something at the jewelry store and then we went over to Moby Dick's and had lunch. We both had a chesses stake sandwich and it was sure good too. So that was a no work day for me on the Carrie Michelle, oh well, maybe I needed a day off. (LOL)

Ferries that take you to P A |
This is one of the farriers that take you back and forth to Port Aransas. It is a short trip of about ten min. at the most. It can be fun when the water is rough and they do not shut them down very often either. If you have to go around from I live it is about a two hour drive, so that is why they very seldom shut them down.

Off shore drilling rig |
This is an off shore drilling rig that is in dry dock for repairs. This thing is huge too, it is hard to believe how big it is. From the road it looks like a hotel for living quarters too, I mean this thing is really huge. They say that it has been in for repairs for about a year.

White pelicans |
These bird where at a fish cleaning station waiting for a free hand out. Evidently they get there share of fish cause they all look fat. They do not have fly all day looking for there food so they or pretty plumped. So that is why they hang around here.

This is Henry |
Now this is Henry, I think is the boss at the fish cleaning station too. He is not afraid of you at all, he will set rite there and take all the pictures you want. Then he will look at you and want to know where his fish is. ( LOL ) But it is a sight to watch him and the way he controls the rest of the flock too.

Gas tank #2 |
Well this gas tank two and there was no holes in it. The only thing was I had to remove the deck to get it out, and what a job that was like four or five hours it took. Today I will grid it down and fiber glass it and get it ready to go back in it's hole ,then move on to another project. The job will be putting the deck back in it place, but that's ok knowing that the tank is alright and no leaks. I do not need the Coast Guard down on me for a gas leak at all. So this will be the job for the next two or three days, cause after it is fiber glassed it has to be painted with two coats.
