Well it is ruff

Well it sure has been a bad week for me . I had to go back to the hospitle for three days and they almost drown me in my own fluied. So yesterday my daughter took me to a new heart Dr. and now we might g,et somewhere. After checking me I had a little over thirthy pounds of fluied in me. They dibbled up on my water pill for three days and if that does not work back in the hospitle I go. So it has not been a good week ending nor starting.

All I can do is hope and pray that it will change. The main thing is To start breathing better and that would be a plus. Cause as it is I can't breathe. It is so very hard to take a good deep breath. To not get a good deep lung of air is frighting, belive me it is. Well it is like anything else, we can complaine about it if we want to. So I will just move on to something else.

It is great to be home

Well good morning to all, sure have missed writing here and just being on the out side. After spending four days in the hospital I hope I am back to recovery. The first thing was they flooded my lungs and having COPD it is very hard to get read of all the liquid and it then it turns into pneumonia. Well after that they sent me home with an oxygen maker to use for three weeks and try and get my lungs  and chest back to normal..

Now that I am back I will start working slowly on the Carrie Michelle. The motors or suppose to be here on the 23RD ( Happy Birthday Shirley ) and I want to be ready for them too. Most all the big stuff is done just have a few things that or lingering around and need to be finished. So I will just go steady Well I guess I will get up and see what I can get into.

Well it will all work out

Well good morning to all that keeps up with my posts.

Well Monday night was a bad day for me
About 6:00 PM I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, what a ordeal it was too, so Tuesday Morning they went in the heart and it was a mess too.

Well they put two stints in and now I need to have a bypass. So as it stands I am on my way to San Antonio to have bypass surgery. As for as I know they are going to do there of them and also be looking at a valve also.
So as it stands I will not be able to do very much on the Carrie Michelle for about six weeks. So if you would please keep me in your prayers.

Today was a very good day

Well today was a great day here at the Carrie Michelle. My blood pressure was back to normal and I was able to get A bunch done.

Good Supper

After a hard days work on the Carrie Michelle ,I  decided to fix me a good supper. I fixed green peas, mashed potato's , and hamburger stake. It sure was good too. I do not splurge very often but today I did. Sometimes you just have to do things like that, Most of the time I will eat a sandwich or something light before I go to bed. Oh well that is it for the food deal and now on to something else.

Bowsprit

This is the parcel finished bowsprit for the front of the Carrie Michelle. Today was the fourth day of work on it. It is made of three cut and laminated boards . This wood was given to me by my good friend West. It came out of a sixty seven year old boat. The next thing that needs to be done, is to get it mounted and the screw holes filled and sanded with some 220 and 600 grit paper and then oiled downed, then it will be completed., Well that is about it for today, until next posting have a great evening,

Hopefully I Can

Well good morning to all. This week has been a out of place week. It all started with my Dr. change my blood pressure meds. So it has not been good trying to get it back under control. So needless to say I have not got much done on the Carrie Michelle this week. This weekend I have spent all my weekend on the bow sprint and hopefully I will get it finished today. It will also be nice if my blood pressure would level out and get back to normal.

Back at it

Well good morning to all of you that read this little story on the Carrie Michelle.This past weekend was a good one at my daughters.

4x8 Flower veggie bed

This is what we made for her veggie beds. There or four 4 x 8 , one 4 x 4 , and one odd shaped by the porch for her herbs. Even I worked three days up there it is well worth it to see her happy and they will be able to have fresh food. All in all it was a great trip and I was glad to go for a few days too.

Motor mounts

Well the welder came yesterday and got the motor mounts now I am waiting on the motors to get out of the shop and then we will almost be ready for the water. You know it has not been that long of a wait to get into the water. Now we are almost there.

Life Ring

Well here is the first sing on the Carrie Michelle becoming real. Yes she is becoming a real boat now and the name is a real name too. So that is about it for yesterday and today is going to be a real busy day also.

Time to go

Well good morning to you ,

Well my visit is over and it is time to get on the road. I did get a lot done while I was here. I got five raised veggie beds made and or ready to use. On the way out I will stop by and pick my other daughter then head south to the Carrie Mechile.

This week I have a lot to do. I have to get the gussets in place and fiberglassed in and be ready for the motors. I have to get all the control cables and the wiring harness down too. So it looks like I will be busy for a day or two. In order for me to get the gussets in, I have to remove all the tanks from the basement and then reinstall them. Wow! What a job to redo that. Well yu just don't know how things will work out sometimes,that is why I'm removing them so I can get the gussets in there places. Well that's how it goes sometimes.
